From Taipei to London,
I always seek inspiration from people's lives.
It's the little true events from our lives,
simple and beautiful, that have driven me to become a filmmaker since the age of eighteen.
I make films, that tell “stories.”
After graduating with a degree in Communication Arts, I spent several years working with people from stage and film productions, providing my expertise in video editing and field research in the early stage of projects.

NO I.D. follows the story of a transgender immigrant in the UK. From colossal tasks in the healthcare sector to tiny troubles at the post office, Tatenda searches for valid proof of the joyful life he lives, proof which is hard to find in our current system.
Tender, wacky and a bit surreal, Tatenda uses the music he wrote throughout his first year on testosterone to guide us through what it takes to validate Black and queer identities in the eyes of the law.

The Wall

The affluent family, Chen, and a family underprivileged, Xu, are separated by a wall from each other.
The labour relations seemed to be equal and bidirectional; However, it is the reality of endless exploitation by the capitalist.
Even Xu gradually realise the wall is rigid and pliable, and the injustice of the society is irreversible. He still determines to crash it with the conscience he has and the flesh and blood he is.
